If you are organising your trip before you arrive, or just like having your days planned out beforehand, advanced bookings guarantee you bikes! Weekends and holidays are very busy times in the Lakes, so be aware our bikes do get booked out quickly!

We don’t take any deposit when renting out bikes. We do, however, require some security for our bikes. We take this in the form of photo ID. Your sensitive information is safely stored until the bikes are returned, at which point it is either returned to you or properly disposed of.

None at all! The cost of renting a bike includes everything you need for your days riding; a helmet, a repair kit and maps of some of our local rides!

We don’t believe the weather is ever too bad to enjoy a bike ride! But we do appreciate not everyone shares our love of riding in the rain, which is why we are happy to transfer your booking to another day at no extra cost! Please keep in mind this is only possible if the bikes are available on the rescheduled date!

Luckily for you, we are experts in Lake District riding. Our team has tested every stretch of road and trail so feel free to pick their brains about routes and rides you're interested in!

We have provided a selection of our favourite routes for free, using Komoot! They can all be found on the “Cycling Routes” page. If you’ve ticket all of these routes off already, give our team a shout!
